Paris

Paris is the historic heart of France and a distillation of its spirit and creative elan. The Arche de la Défense, the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Louvre Pyramid, the Grande Bibliothèque François Mitterrand, the gallerie of contemporary art are just a few examples of the ground-breaking architecture and modern art to be found here today.

Auvers-Sur-Oise

A true immersion in the pictorial art of the last century, Auvers enchanted Daubigny, Corot and Daumier (as proved by Daubigny's studio-house), and then subsequently attracted the major names of Impressionism. Apart from the château, where you are invited on a 'Voyage to the time of the Impressionists', you can immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the period at the Auberge Ravoux where Van Gogh stayed just before his death  in 1890. Today one can see his miraculously preserved room and a museum devoted to him.

Château de Versailles

Among the most famous monuments in the world, this masterpiece brought about by a king's desire (Louis XIV) and the genius of the 17th century's greatest artists, is worth a voyage in itself. Just like every part of the château, the park landscaped by Le Nôtre, the King's vegetable garden, the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon and the town itself are all worthy of close attention.

La Défense - Grande Arche

A site of great architectural and technological audacity, La Défense is the largest business precinct in Europe. The Grande Arche, set in line with the Champs-Elysées, is a modern echo of the Arc de Triomphe: this immense 110 m high hollow cube, clad in glass and white marble, provides a unique view over Paris. What's more, the contemporary art circuit - around 60 sculptures - turns this district into a real open-air museum.

Les Puces de Saint-Ouen

Antiques market, vast sprawling market of new and second-hand goods from dawn on Saturdays to sunset on Mondays, the Saint-Ouen fleamarket teems with antiques hunters, tourists and the curious of all kinds who come to unearth the most unsual objects. A unique immersion in the crowds!
