Tax and Finance Analyst

Location: Dublin

Reports to: Finance Director or nominated deputy

Ryanair is the World's favourite airline and operates more than 1,500 flights per day from 50 bases and 1,400+ low fare routes across 28 countries, connecting 165 destinations. Ryanair operates a fleet of 298 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft with firm orders for a further 7 new aircraft (before taking account of planned disposals), which will be delivered over the next year. Regulated by the Irish Aviation Authority, Ryanair currently has a team of more than 8,500 people and passengers were in excess of 75.8 million in its most recent fiscal year ended 31 March, 2012.

Duties Include:

  • All areas of direct and indirect taxation
  • Tax computations
  • Assisting with the implementing of taxation strategy
  • Structuring transactions
  • Review of contracts
  • Compliance
  • Providing relevant advice and assistance within Ryanair
  • Liaising with external advisors, Revenue and auditors
  • Preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts
  • Management reporting and analysis
  • Ad-hoc duties

Experience and Qualifications:

AITI qualified, or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years (p.q.e.) exposure to a large PLC or subsidiary of a large Multinational (working in the tax department of an accountancy practice or in industry).

Excellent analytical skills are essential. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative, strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills.
