Asenovgrad

A blessed town, stepped on the Trakia plain and in the Rodopa mountain, shrouded in the aromas of the linden, the lilac and the wound grapevines, nestled under the might of the Asenovgrad fortress, elevated with its numerous shrines of faith, which preserved the town for eternal times: Here is the entrance of the most convenient passage through the Rodopa mountains, gathered the Nature, the history and the ancient cultures in a unique sacred harmony. In Asenovgrad the gates of time are open wide and the travel in the past takes us back 9 thousand years ago in one of the earliest centres of neolith and eneolith culture not only in Bulgaria, but in the world as well.

Rhodope

The Rhodope municipality is situated just above the Tracian-Strandja natural geograpchic area and the Upper Tracian subarea. It is an administrative unit in the composition of the Plovdiv region, which in turn is a territorial part of the South Central Region. Rhodope Municipality has an area of 524 square kilometers and occupies about 10% of the area of Plovdiv. It has a favorable location: south-southwest of Plovdiv, in the northern slopes of Mount Rhodope, where it lies on an area of about 300 square miles of forest between the Rhodope Asenovgrad Mihalkovo and Krichim. To the north, it borders the "Kuklen", "Chepelare" and "Devin" municipalities, to the east - "Asenovgrad" municipality and to the west with "Stamboliiski" municipality. Administratevely, the municipality is presented by 21 setlements - town halls and cities, 7 of which are mountainous.

Hisarya

The legend tells that emperor Diocletian could not handle the loss of his wife. He left out his public obligations, stopped eating. Then the doctors told him about a small Thracian settlement with healing waters. The green valley with its mineral springs and song of the birds helped the emperor get through his pain. When he felt better, he ordered gorgeous colonnades and villas to built on that place. He named the town after his wife - Augusta. Today this town is called Hisarya. People form all over the world keep on coming here, looking for healing in the warm springs or willing to dive in the silence of the beautiful parks and wonderful nature, keeping these new experiences and exciting adventures inside their hearts forever.
