Materials Distribution Manager STN
SAMS (Stansted Aircraft Maintenance Systems) are recruiting for a Materials Distribution Manager to be based in Stansted, you will be working in co-operation with our client airline Ryanair, Europe's number one low fares airline. Managing all operations at Ryanair Stores and Distribution Centre - Stansted.
Managing the Stansted Stores team including monitoring training, development and the shift roster
Monitoring and controlling of costs associated with all Material/Stores transactions and freight costs at Stansted
Responsible for managing the control, movement and availability of all spare parts /freight passing through the Stores/ Distribution centre.
Ensure timely controls and accurate input of the AMOS computer system to ensure that all parts are accurately reflected on our system.
Monitoring and control of schedules for incoming and outgoing spares for aircraft on the line and to outstations
Control of all required documentation for component removals and installations ensuring that all unserviceable items are managed correctly IAW Ryanair procedures
Managing all spare part movements and to ensure that robberies, loans /exchanges are completed accurately and IAW procedures.
Ensuring efficient and timely movement of components through the system
Accountability for all administration tasks in relation to our Stores/ Distribution Centre at Stansted.
Accountable for ensuring the adherence to processes and procedures including Health and Safety
Accomplish other such duties as may be reasonably directed by Management
Experience and Qualifications:
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING ABILITIES:
Proven track record of Management experience
Strong organisational skills are essential, with the ability to handle a wide variety of tasks in a highly pressurised environment.
Proactive, positive approach and the ability to work on own initiative
Good understanding of processes and procedures
Excellent numerical ability and contract experience.
Experience in managing a team would be distinctly advantageous
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office, especially Excel and word
