Leeds Bradford Airport is situated 12 Km outside of Bradford city and 15 Km outside of Leeds. There is a bus connection to the two towns, operated by Metro;journey time is 40 minutes in both cases and tickets cost £1.80 to Bradford and £2.00 to Leeds. Buses leave from outside the Terminal Building.

Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds:

The museum in Leeds is a multi-million pound purpose built building, housing a large part of the national collection of arms and armour, and displays over 8500 objects throughout its five themed galleries. Admission to the Royal Armouries Museum is free.

National Media Museum, Bradford:

The National Media Museum is a fabulous free museum in Bradford, West Yorkshire devoted to film, photography, TV, radio and the web. The Deep, Hull:

Highlights include Europe's deepest viewing tunnel and a glass lift ride through the 10m deep tank. Explore the Twilight Zone, the world's largest exhibition featuring weird animals from the depths, and slime! Where you can discover how animals ooze, stick and slide to survive. Dine with the sharks! The Two Rivers Restaurant at The Deep is open Friday and Saturday evenings from 7pm. Enjoy a contemporary Mediterranean menu with a Yorkshire twist.
