The 3 Valleys

LES MENUIRES
The "doorstep skiing" resort of Les Menuires is part of the prestigious 3 Valleys, with 600 kms of runs and 200kms of ski lifts. Thanks to its 378 snow cannons Les Menuires offers guaranteed skiing from the beginning of the season to the end. Les Menuires is a paradise for sportsmen but also offers many activities for families: ice rink, fitness center, paragliding, tobogganing, walks, snow shoe outings... As for the children, there are two centers to take care of them. The resort is very welcoming and over recent years has been developing top quality tourist residences and chalets built in stone and wood, inspired by the Savoyard architecture. The church steeple and the sports and cultural centre add to the atmosphere and charm of the resort.

VAL THORENS
Val Thorens is situated at the heart of a magnificent cirque overlooked by 6 glaciers. At an altitude of 2300 meters it is the highest ski resort in Europe and is located at the top of the 3 Valleys, the largest ski area in the world. (600 kms of pistes, 200 ski lifts, 25 mountain peaks). Val Thorens offers exceptional snow quality, guaranteed from November up until the beginning of May, with 8 skiable peaks or passes above 3000 meters. The ski area is suitable for all levels and offers an excellent lift system. The other major benefits of this Savoyard resort are its successful architectural changes and its large selection of sporting and cultural activities: these include an indoor 9000 m² sports center, a unique toboggan run and child day care centres for children over the age of 3 months. Val Thorens successfully combines modern and traditional living with the facilities and ski area of a large resort in a magnificent setting.
