Do I need to pre-advise Ryanair if I am Blind or Vision Impaired and travelling WITH a Sighted adult-over 16? |
|
A blind or vision impaired passenger who is travelling WITH a sighted (adult – over 16) companion (on a one to one ratio) and requires no special assistance is not subject to the safety limitation of four special assistance passengers being carried on a flight. However due to aviation safety regulations the airline must be pre-advised so that the required seating can be arranged by the crew on board. Passengers should pre-advise either at the time of online booking or via the Ryanair Special Assistance Line-preferably on the same day as booking. Passengers of reduced mobility who have pre-advised their condition should arrive at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes prior to the flight departure. They will be boarded after general boarding has been completed and seats will be reserved onboard. |
