Can I smoke onboard a Ryanair Flight?

In accordance with Statutory Instrument No. 61/2006 — Irish Aviation Authority (Operations) Order, 2006, Ryanair prohibit smoking on board it's aircraft at any time.  The aircraft toilets are fitted with smoke detectors to ensure compliance with this policy. Tampering with an aircraft smoke detector or smoking in any part of the aircraft is a serious offence which endangers the safety of the aircraft and may lead to prosecution and also disruption costs being claimed against you by Ryanair.
