Möll Valley Glacier

MÖLL VALLEY GLACIER/MALLNITZ/ANKOGEL
In Carinthia's unique glacier skiing area the season lasts almost all year round, with the guarantee of powder! No wonder because on the Möll Valley Glacier sun-seeking carvers and snowboarders are right in the highest part of the Eastern Alps at over 10,000 feet above sea level. You even think you can reach out and touch the Sonnblick and Grossglockner mountains. In spite of its altitude the Möll valley glacier is easily accessible. Afunicular takes you up from Flattach to the snowy heights in only 8 minutes. On the nearby Ankogel mountain in Mallnitz you can also enjoy sure skiing and the breathtaking scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park while skiing. All in all a winter wonderland. On the glacier there are a total of 11 lifts servicing the 49km of piste and on the Ankogel 5 lifts service the 30km of piste.
