The most popular time to fly to Pisa is from June to September. What to see in Pisa

The most famous attraction in Pisa is without doubt its Leaning Tower. This wonky wonder of medieval engineering isn’t the only reason to fly to Pisa however. Pisa’s Duomo, a massive cathedral beside the tower is well worth touring too. To the other side of the tower you’ll find the Baptistery which is the largest of its kind in Italy. It has jaw dropping acoustics, which staff can sometimes be persuaded into showcasing.

Getting around

Most of Pisa’s main attractions are located around Piazza Dei Miracoli so you can easily move from sight to sight by foot. If you aren’t staying near the Piazza Dei Miracoli there are a number of bus services that stop  close by. The bus station is located just outside Pisa’s railway station. You can walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa from the railway station in about 20 minutes. The city of Pisa is quite close to Pisa International airport too and you can reach it by car in around 20 minutes once your cheap flights to Pisa arrive.
