Getting to London Stansted Airport

If travelling from the centre of London to catch your London to Faro flights, you’ll find the Stansted Express train is one of the quickest and easiest ways to get to Stansted airport. The service runs every 15 minutes and takes just 47 minutes from London Liverpool Street. 

The bus is another speedy option. National Express offer a direct shuttle bus service from 38 points around the city centre.

If driving, you’ll find Stansted Airport conveniently located just off the M11 motorway (around 68km outside of central London).

The circuit bus (pink lane) provides a service between Faro airport and the city centre. On arrival in the centre of Faro you’ll find other coach lines waiting to take you to the villages and resorts of the Algarve.

Train connections to other parts of the Algarve and Portugal are also possible – the closest railway station is located around 6 kilometres from Faro airport.

Although considered by many to be a mere gateway to the Algarve, Faro offers much as a travel destination in its own right.
