Flying to Dublin must reads

What to do in Dublin?

The Republic of Ireland’s capital, Dublin, is a delightful blend of cosmopolitan attractions and historical landmarks. For a memorable journey into one of the most interesting cities around, book your Dublin flights with Ryanair, Europe’s favourite airline!

When to book cheap flights to Dublin

Dublin weather is best described as ‘changeable’ – in fact, it’s not unusual to experience four seasons in one day. Not even rain can dampen the spirits of the thousands of revellers who fly to Dublin for the St Patrick’s Day Festival each March.  Throughout spring there are plenty of other excuses to visit too, with the 6 Nations Championships filling the city with European rugby supporters on most weekends.  The city is at its most instagrammable in autumn, with parks and public spaces transformed into leafy wonderlands of red, amber and gold. On a perfect summer’s day, there’s no better place to sink a pint than in a sunny beer garden or roof terrace at one of the city’s stylish hotels.

Fly to Dublin Airport with Ryanair

Dublin Airport (DUB)

Dublin Airport is just 10km outside of the city centre and is easily reached from the city. Taxis are available from the entrance of Dublin airport or you can hop on a private coach into the city.

Booked Ryanair car hire for Dublin? Car rental desks are located in the arrivals hall and are a good option if you’d prefer the freedom of the open road.

If you’re staying in the city centre it should take around half an hour to reach your accommodation. Take a look at Ryanair Rooms to see the best value options on offer in Dublin.

Dublin Weather

Dublin has a temperate climate – temperatures are rarely exceeding hot or dramatically cold. If you’re unsure about what to take with you for a visit, it’s worth packing layers that can be added or removed to ensure you’re cosy or comfortable, whatever the weather.
