A local favourite, Muse sits on top of a hill in the centre of the city and is dominated by a large outdoor space shaded from the blazing heat by tarpaulin covers. Boasting a diverse menu expect to eat pretty much anything from burgers to seafood washed down with a creative cocktail from their eclectic drinks selection. Located near the Town Hall enjoy views of the sprawling streets and glistening harbour as you tuck into your meal.

Escape to Italy for the evening at Porto Bello. Bringing a slice of authentic, rustic Italian charm to the Cypriot shores, this location prides itself on quality and presentation, bringing a sense of wholesome home cooking to gourmet style cuisine. Decked out in traditional wooden chairs, red and white checked table cloths and floral vines hugging the exterior, the interior alone transports you to another place. Set inside an old stone building, Tweedies is one of the longest-running restaurants in the city. Find it right in the heart of Kissonerga village and visit the quaint eatery for something different. With a menu that changes weekly to suit the current season, all the dishes are freshly prepared using local produce. Spend the summer evenings sitting out in the garden and the winter cosying up to hearty homemade food that’ll leave you feeling satisfied. 

4. Sienna Restaurant – Chloraka

With a kitchen run by a world class chef, you can guarantee nothing less than perfection at this next place. Located between Paphos and Coral Bay, Sienna is favoured for its fresh cuts of meat that are seasoned with herbs grown in the restaurant’s very own garden. Watch the clear waves crash against the rocks in the harbour while you eat and let the kids play in the play area so you can have a second of peace and quiet. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, this is a great one to keep in mind during your stay in Paphos.

Aside from the fabulous food, visit this restaurant for its outside area with day beds, tables made from wine barrels, outdoor bar and playground.
