2. Primavera Sound

This Barcelona-based music festival has always delivered the finest acts in a beautiful location and this year they return with another line-up packed full of quality.

3. NorthSide

4. Parklife

Parklife in Manchester is the perfect festival for those who want to avoid camping. Spread out over two days, it’s a thumping good way to spend a weekend in the north of England. Last year’s line-up featured Cardi B, George Ezra and Solange... We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us this year!

5. Isle Of Wight Festival

The UK has a reputation for hosting some of the best European music festivals and Isle Of Wight has a lot to do with that. Established in 1968, Isle Of Wight welcomes some of the world’s top artists in 2020.

7. Rock Werchter

8. Garorock

9. Awakenings

Fans of techno, house and good times will love Awakenings. Over 100 acts will descend on Amsterdam to play the best in electronic music over two days in the Netherlands capital.

10. Roskilde

The largest festival in northern Europe, Roskilde is often compared to Glastonbury in size and legend. If you want to have a great time without the guilty conscience, Roskilde is the festival for you. All profits are donated to social and cultural charities. It’s a win-win situation.

This Polish music festival is one of the best organised festivals in Europe. Plus - you won’t have to worry about finding a spot for your tent as when you arrive they'll have one waiting for you. Add to that a brilliant line-up playing in a former military airfield and you have a festival not to be missed.

12. EXIT Festival

This European music festival has put Serbia on the map as a must visit destination for music lovers. 2018’s “Best Major European Festival” at the EU Festival Awards, EXIT is back with another line-up so good you won’t want to leave.

13. Les Eurockéennes

16. Dour Festival

Don’t read too much into the name, Dour Festival is anything but dour. It might just be the friendliest music festival in Europe. From security to bar staff to festival goers, Dour is a wonderful experience. Great line-up too.

17. Mad Cool Festival

24. Sziget

25. Lowlands

The small Dutch town of Biddinghuizen sees its 6,000 strong population increase by more than 50,000 for a weekend each August. Lowlands features heavyweight headliners, a wellness village, sports facilities and dozens of restaurants from all over the world.

26. Sonus

29. Electric Picnic

Ireland’s biggest music festival, and one of the best European music festivals on offer. The Picnic has grown massively since its 2004 beginnings and after selling out last year in record time, 2020’s edition promises to be even more special.
