How to eat your way around Palma

Head up to the eighth floor of the NAKAR hotel for spellbinding views over the city’s old town and not to mention, a stellar meal that’ll have you full to the brim in no time at all. Featuring food prepared by world renowned chef Miquel Calent, you’re in for a real treat at this place. 

4. Kurobota -  Plaça del Progrés, 9

Situated in the trendy gastronomic district of Santa Catalina, Kurobota is putting an Asian twist on Spanish tapas. Serving up bite-sized portions of modern Japanese-East Asian fusion food, this cool eatery will have you running back for more. 

5. C’an Joan de S’Aige - Carrer de Can Sanç, 10

Treat your sweet tooth and try traditional ensaimada at Palma’s oldest restaurant. Open since the 18th century, C’an Joan de S’Aige is the place to come and get pastries in the morning, washed down with thick hot chocolate. With rustic interiors and a warm, cosy atmosphere, this restaurant is a sight for sore eyes, before you’ve even seen the food. 

6. La Rosa Vermuteria - Carrer de la Rosa, 5

Homemade and authentic, the tapas dishes at La Rosa Vermuteria are made with love and it shows. Live like a local for the evening in this old-fashioned spot. Bursting with fresh, seasonal produce topped off with a hint of quirky individuality, you won’t find tapas quite like this anywhere else. 

7. Toque de Queda - Carrer de Can Cavalleria, 15B

Just a stone’s throw away from La Rambla, champagne bar and deli, Toque de Queda is your next port of call on our list of where to eat in Palma. With its three rooms and cosy terrace, this restaurant aims to cater to your every need with both vegetarian and allergy free options. Boasting a seasonal menu and fresher than fresh ingredients, Toque de Queda is one not to be missed!
