Join one of Europe’s biggest street parties on 27th April, when Amsterdam comes out to play for King’s Day. Revellers dressed in orange fill the streets with music and celebrations in honour of King Willem-Alexander. Look out for the specially decorated boats in the canals too – grab a spot on one of the many bridges for the perfect vantage point.
Although King’s Day is traditionally a public holiday, a number of attractions including Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum and the Rijksmuseum remain open.

April 26th sees one of Poland’s most prestigious running events take place from Krakow’s Main Market Square, passing through some of the city’s most historic monuments and locations. Open to men, women, teams and athletes with disabilities from 55 countries, Krakow Marathon is regarded as the most international and inclusive marathons in Poland.
