The next spot requires some cardio activity but what you get at the top is well worth the sweat. Sitting above the modern town of Lindos, the ancient Acropolis is one of the most spectacular viewing points in Rhodes. After venturing up the steep footpath, you can expect to be met with a clifftop enclosed by battlement ruins, as well as the remains of a temple and a 20 columned covered portico. Set up your selfie as the sun hits off the white columns creating a cool contrast between it and the blue of the sky. Walk to the edge and capture the panoramic views of the glistening ocean and inviting coastline.

Venture further than the harbour and explore the beautiful beaches but not without snapping a selfie first. The abundance of expensive looking yachts and sail boats moored there don’t make for a bad photo either!
