This is a crowd favourite amongst locals and tourists alike. With two rooms blaring different genres of music from 10 pm to 6 am, you can count on Sala Gold being a great night out on the town. The club plays every type of music you could want from electronic to salsa and particularly favours 70’s and 80’s pop for all you golden oldie fans. 

Channel your inner flamenco dancer and head to Vista Andalucía to live like a true Spaniard for the evening. Take part in the action and dance on stage with some of the best flamenco dancers. Drink in the lively, local atmosphere and sip on cocktails as you watch the various entertainment on show throughout the night. You’re not likely to find a place as authentically Andalusian as this one. 

Smack bang in the middle of Malaga nightlife central, Plaza Unicaby, Anden is possibly the biggest and most famous club in the area. Playing mainstream chart anthems and reggaetón to the masses from Tuesday all the way through to Sunday, this is another one to add to the list of must- sees for Malaga nightlife. Featuring resident and guest DJs, the selling point of this club is its location – right next to a taxi rank so you can fall into the car at 6 am when you’ve danced yourself silly! 

If you do nothing else on your trip make sure you visit El Pimpi, one of the oldest bodega bars in Malaga. Situated inside an 18^th century mansion house, it has been the meeting place of locals and tourists for decades. Since its opening in 1971, the bar has prided itself on being a symbol of quality nightlife in Malaga with its culturally and historically impressive surroundings such as The Alcazaba and Picasso Museum. Pay this place a visit to take in the antique interior and sip sweet Malaga wine.

 Located in what used to be a 19^th century palace, you’ll have nothing less than a royal night of fun here. During the week days, Liceo plays home to a host of live flamenco performances and transforms into a buzzing disco theca at the weekend playing all the club anthems you came out for. One of the most individually stylish venues in town with its towering ceilings and chandeliers, this is the perfect place to let your hair down and really discover what nightlife in Malaga has to offer.

A haven for house music lovers, this is one of Malaga’s trendiest discos. Get ready to dance your socks off all night as this place starts heaving after midnight. With a slick interior emphasised by a collection of neon lights, the casual, friendly atmosphere will draw you in and make you never want to leave. 

The rooftop terrace on the fifth floor of the two story building, situated right under the walls of the spectacular Alcazaba, boasts stunning panoramic views over the Roman Theatre and the best preserved fortress in Spain. A real hidden gem of Malaga nightlife, there’s no better way to relax and escape the heat of the city than to chilled out music with a G&T in hand. This bar also has a restaurant, Batik,  so you can line your stomachs for the night ahead.
