Must-sees in Nantes include the restored medieval Château des ducs de Bretagne,  now a history museum which hosts multimedia exhibits. One of the city’s most popular attractions is Nantes Cathedral. The cathedral took more than 450 years to build and is home to the Renaissance tomb of Duke Francois II. Nantes is also home to several excellent museums including the Musée des Beaux­-Arts where you can see paintings dating back to  the 13th century.
