Avoid lengthy queues.
The process is simple and quick, all you need is the Ryanair App and your passport.
1. Select your flight & check in as usual.
2. Enter your passport details, and you'll then be prompted to validate it.
3. Hold your passport to the back of your phone, (near the top) until you get confirmation it's scanned.
4. Skip the airport queues and head straight to security. (unless you have a bag to drop off).

If you're travelling on a non-Schengen to Schengen area flight (e.g., UK to Germany), you can validate your passport up to 2 hours before your flight.
To use this feature, ensure your passport is:
- Valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in the country of your destination.
Once validation is completed you will be issued a digital boarding pass, so you can skip the airport queues.
Passports are validated through the use of NFC. The passport data you provide will be deleted immediately upon completion of validation.
