1. The Promoter of the Cheltenham Festival Promotion (the “Promotion”) is Ryanair DAC (company no. 104547) whose registered office is at Ryanair Dublin Office, Airside Business Park, Swords, Co. Dublin, Ireland.
2. By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all other special conditions relating to the Promotion.
3. Any person found to be in breach of these rules shall be disqualified immediately.
4. Employees (and family members of employees) of any Ryanair company, its affiliates, subsidiary companies (“Ryanair”), any representatives or agents of Ryanair and anyone who may be professionally involved with the Promotion may not enter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
5. The Promotion is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and residents of Ireland. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age and residency at any time for this purpose.
6. Ryanair’s General Terms and Condition of Carriage and Terms of Use, available on Ryanair.com shall apply.
HOW TO ENTER
7. The Promotion shall commence at 00:01 (Irish Standard Time) on 13 November 2025 and ends at 23:59 (Irish Standard Time) on 30 November 2025 (the “Promotion Period”).
8. To participate in this Promotion, entrants must complete the purchase of a one way or return flight, within the Promotion Period, via the official Ryanair website (Ryanair.com) or Ryanair App, on one of the Eligible routes (Dublin to Birmingham, Dublin to Bristol, Shannon to Birmingham, Cork to Birmingham), with Travel dates must be between 9 March 2025 to 14 March 2025. Entrants will need to register their interest to join the promotion through the survey linked on the promotion landing page (Win Tickets to Cheltenham with Ryanair Survey) accessible through the Ryanair.ie website. Only one entry per booking is permitted.
9. To complete the survey entrants will need to provide the reservation number, email address used to make the booking, and the entrants preferred day to go to Cheltenham Festival (the “Festival”). The Festival Dates are Tuesday 10th March 2026, Wednesday 11th March 2026, Thursday 12th March 2026, Friday 13th March 2026. Please note Ryanair can’t guarantee that Winners will receive tickets for their desired date.
10. Except for any entries not accepted in accordance with Clause 11, all participants who comply with Clause 8 will be entered into the Promotion (the “Participants”).
11. Entries which are, in the reasonable exercise of Ryanair’s discretion, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete, received outside the Promotion Period, outside the Eligible routes or outside Promotion Travel dates, include incorrect details, or deemed invalid in any way will not be accepted. Ryanair accepts no responsibility for entries that are misdirected or, lost, mislaid, incomplete, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, due to technical errors of the software or hardware systems used to enter participants into the Promotion.
THE DRAW AND NOTIFICATION TO WINNERS
12. 200 participants will be selected at random between 30 November and 5 December 2025 (the “Selected Participants”) from all eligible entries (the "Draw").
13.The Draw will take place under the supervision of an independent observer.
14. The Selected Participants will be contacted via the email at the address provided at the time of entry before 5 December 2025 and must correctly answer a general knowledge question within 7 days of receiving the email in order to claim the prize. All Selected Participants will be asked the same general knowledge question.
15. Failure to answer or correctly answer the general knowledge question within the required time will result in the Selected Participant being knocked out of the Promotion and no longer being eligible to win the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right select another Selected Participant at random from the remaining eligible entries.
16.If the Selected Participant correctly answers the general knowledge question in accordance with Clause 14, they will be notified via email with details on the Prize.
THE PRIZE & HOW TO REDEEM
17. The Prize shall consist of one person general admission ticket to the Cheltenham Festival 2026, valid for one of the four festival dates. Tickets are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available. Travel, accommodation, and other expenses are not included.
18. The Promoter is not liable or responsible for the festival’s acceptance or refusal of the prize for any reason whatsoever or for any compliance with the festival rules. All obligations and requirements imposed by the festival are the sole responsibility of the winner.
19. If a winner fails to attend the festival for any reason whatsoever, they will not be entitled to alternative tickets, a refund or compensation.
USE OF PERSONAL DATA
20. All personal information (booking reference, e-mail address, age) will be used solely in connection with the Promotion by Ryanair and will be retained by Ryanair for 3 months from the closing date for the Promotion, after which the data will be deleted.
21. By entering the Promotion, Participants understand that their personal data will be processed in accordance with Ryanair’s Privacy Policy, which can be found under this link: https://www.ryanair.com/ie/en/lp/privacy-policy .
22. Ryanair reserves the right to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid Promotion took place. Participants acknowledge that Ryanair must nevertheless still provide the information and winning entry to the ASAI or equivalent regulator on request.
23. The winner will be able to withdraw from the Promotion at any time by writing to our Data Protection Officer at Ryanair Head Office, Airside Business Park, Swords, County Dublin, Ireland or emailing our DPO at DPO@ryanair.com.
GENERAL
24. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and/or amend the Promotion Terms and Conditions at any time due to circumstances beyond its control, which could not have been foreseen during the Promotion Period, and only when such circumstances are unavoidable by appropriate measures and prevent the Promoter from performing the Promotion and/or from applying all the Promotion Terms and Conditions
25. The Promoter may disqualify any individual where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of the Promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a Participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion or won using fraudulent means.
26. The Promoter or its servants and agents shall not be liable, in contract or tort (including negligence), or for breach of statutory duty or any other way, for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment howsoever arising suffered directly or indirectly by any person participating in this Promotion or accepting a Prize. Nothing in these Terms shall limit the Promoter’s liability for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
27. Although the Promoter will use reasonable efforts to ensure that all information relating to the Promotion (“Promotion Material”) is accurate, the Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software failure, which the Promoter cannot anticipate, prevent or avoid, that may affect the Participant’s ability to access Ryanair’s operation of the Promotion or the Promoter site.
28. Except as otherwise provided by applicable law, Irish law shall govern this Promotion and these Terms and Conditions, and the Courts of Ireland shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to decide any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Promotion and these Terms and Conditions.
29. If any provision of these terms and conditions is validly held to be void, illegal or otherwise unenforceable, this will not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not so held.
30. Failure or delay on the part of the Promoter in exercising any right under these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
