Home to the best meringue in the country, Caffe Tramer knows how to satisfy a sugar craving or two. Dripping in history, the old school eatery oozes charm with its rustic dark wood cabinets and cosy standing-only shop floor. Part of the city since the 1800s, the interiors emulate the grandeur of its speciality dessert with a huge chandelier and floor to ceiling glass windows. Pretty much unchanged in all the years it has been open, no trip to Cagliari is complete without a trip here to try the famous meringue sandwiched together with a light white cream.
